Hi. The condom broke last night, around 1am. Is it too late for PEP?
You’re well within time. PEP works best when it starts in the first hours, and you can start tonight.
You only need your first name. Would you like to come in now, or should I explain what happens first?

The PEP window

Every hour counts, and you probably have more time than you fear.

PEP should start as soon as possible and no later than 72 hours after an exposure. Move the slider to when it happened to see where you are.

After you message

From tonight to your all-clear.

PEP is more than one visit. This is the whole course, including the follow-up most clinics leave you to work out alone.

Start with a message
  1. Tonight

    Private visit, first dose

A doctor asks only what’s medically needed, in a private room.

    • Baseline HIV test, plus kidney and hepatitis B checks if needed
    • First tablet before you leave
    • Full 28-day supply to take with you
  2. Days 1–28

One tablet a day, with support

Mild nausea or tiredness usually settles within the first days. Message us on WhatsApp with any question, any hour.

  3. Week 4–6

    First follow-up test

At the clinic, or at home with the English letter we give you. We’ll remind you.

  4. Month 3

    Final test and what’s next

Your last check. If exposures might happen again, we’ll talk about moving onto PrEP with no gap in protection.

Discretion

What we won’t ask you for.

Privacy here isn’t a form you sign. It’s how every visit works, from your first message to your last follow-up.

Private by default
  • 01Your full name

A first name or a nickname is enough to start care.

  • 02An explanation

We ask only what matters medically. How it happened is your business.

  • 03An appointment

Walk in at any hour, or message first so the doctor is ready for you.

  • 04Permission to tell anyone

Your visit and your results stay between you and your doctor.

Questions

Asked at 3am, answered plainly.

Can I really start PEP in the middle of the night?
Yes. The clinic is open 24 hours, including weekends and public holidays. Send a WhatsApp message first so the doctor is ready when you arrive.
What if it’s been more than 72 hours?
PEP is usually no longer started after 72 hours. You should still get advice: we’ll plan the right tests and timing, and talk about PrEP if it fits.
How well does PEP work?
Started early and taken every day for 28 days, PEP greatly lowers the chance of HIV infection. It isn’t 100%, which is why daily doses and follow-up tests matter.
Are there side effects?
Modern PEP is generally well tolerated. Some people feel mild nausea, headache or tiredness in the first days. Message us if anything worries you.
Do I need ID or an appointment?
A first name is enough to start. If you want to claim on travel insurance later, ask for an English receipt and medical letter.
Is PEP the same as PrEP?
No. PEP is an emergency 28-day course after a possible exposure. PrEP is taken before exposure to prevent HIV on an ongoing basis. Many people move from PEP straight onto PrEP.
